What does "primary" even mean?

I can understand that red and blue and yellow are the primary colors because I cannot create these colors by the combination of other colors....I guess I just hope that people dont use the word "primary" when referring to anything other than colors.

I can also understand how certain numbers can be referred to as "primary"....aka prime numbers....that also makes sense because these numbers do not have any factors, and therefore cannot be created by the combination of other numbers....which makes me think about "Godel Numbering"....you should do a Google search about Godel Numbering....because I believe that Godel basically demonstrated that any possible complex idea, even the most complex idea imaginable, could be represented exclusively as an equivalent combination of the prime numbers which represent each fundamental component of the complex statement.

All that is to say, that I hope that people dont use the word "primary" unless they are referring to colors or numbers.

Which are the primary colors?

Which are the primary shapes?

Which are the primary materials?

Which are the primary relations?

Primary emotions?  Composite emotions? Schaudenfraude?

Why are there so many primary numbers?  There are only 3 primary colors, yet an infinitude of primary numbers......what does that imply about colors and about numbers?  What does that imply about the relation between colors and numbers?

What is the relation between the primary colors and the primary shapes?  BAUHAUS?  A yellow triangle, a red square, and a blue circle?  is that the proper relation?
